The position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our growing development team. As a Senior Golang Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that power our games. You will collaborate with teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our front-end systems and enhancing the overall player experience

Role

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using Golang

• Collaborate with game developers, designers, and other stakeholders to define system requirements and architecture.

• Optimize and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability

• Implement and maintain APIs, microservices, and server-side logic to support game features and functionality

• Ensure the security and integrity of data and applications

• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers

• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our development practices

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner

• Contribute to the planning and estimation of development tasks and projects

Profile

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems

• Proficiency in Golang with a strong understanding of its ecosystem and best practices

• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs

• Solid understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry is a plus
